The Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) has updated its Board of Directors. The nine member companies include Apple, Belkin, ConvenientPower, Google, GRL Platform Solutions, nok9, NuVolta Technologies, Philips, and Samsung.

NuVolta is one of only two semiconductor companies on the board—and one of only two Chinese companies, alongside ConvenientPower. It will work with Apple, Samsung, Google, Belkin, Philips, and others to help shape wireless charging standards and industry direction.
