On July 23, the "2025 Qi2.2 Wireless Charging New Technology Seminar," hosted by Charging Head Network, concluded successfully online. As an annual flagship event in the wireless charging field, this seminar brought together numerous leading industry companies to discuss the latest advancements and future trends of Qi2.2 technology.

Mr. Huang Gang, Product Marketing Manager at NuVolta Technologies (Hefei) Co., Ltd., was invited to participate and delivered a keynote presentation titled "Driving the Popularization of Qi2.2: Product Innovation is NuVolta's Endless Driving Force." He shared NuVolta's innovative achievements and industry insights in the Qi2.2 technology domain.

As the latest standard released by the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC), Qi2.2 further optimizes charging efficiency, compatibility, and safety, opening up broader possibilities for consumer electronics, automotive, medical, and other fields. In his speech, Huang Gang emphasized that the popularization of Qi2.2 is not just a technological iteration but a comprehensive upgrade of the user experience. The core of achieving this goal lies in continuous product innovation and ecosystem collaboration.

        Supports the PPS protocol, low-power mode, and optimized EMI performance, ensuring compatibility with multi-brand devices.
  • Cost-Effectiveness
        Reduces BOM cost and PCBA complexity through integration and packaging innovations, accelerating mass production.

Industry Collaboration: Building the Qi2.2 Ecosystem Together / COLLABORATION

During his speech, Mr. Huang Gang also mentioned the concept of "Ecosystem Win-Win." He pointed out that the popularization of Qi2.2 requires industry collaboration – every step, from chip design and solution integration to certification testing, is crucial.

With NuVolta's CEO Michael being elected as a WPC Director and NuVolta's Li Zeng elected as Vice Chairman of the WPC 50W SWG, NuVolta hopes to contribute more effectively to the collaboration across the industry chain in the future.
